Senior Care Practitioner (Practice Support Technician) - Inverness

- Salary/Hourly rate: £27,100 per annum

- Hours: 37.5 hours per week plus on call responsibilities

Highland Home Carers are looking for a Practice Support Technician to work as part of our South Highland Team in Inverness . This role is supervisory and you need a full UK Driving Licence. Maybe you are looking to progress into a supervisory role but don’t have the experience, that doesn’t matter, please get in touch.
You must have worked in a social care role, you will need your smartphone to access our operating system, Care Planning, but most of all you will want to work for one the largest and the only employee-owned care company in the Highlands, where our people are at the heart of everything we do.

Job Purpose
To assist in the operational management in the South Highland service under the direction of the Service Manager.
Main Duties
- Support the Assistant Manager and Service Manager to ensure the service operates within the standards prescribed by national and local policy and practice.
- Devise and maintain supported persons files, care/support plans and computerised records to make sure they are up to date at all times.
- Liaise with NHS and other professionals and outside agencies about referrals for people who need care/support.
- Establish and maintain good working relationships with supported people, colleagues and care/support workers within your area of practice.
